It's funny to notice how many wires are connected to every house in my neighborhood. So many wires, three or four attached to each house, extending out to poles along the street. It's kind of like when you pay too much attention to people's noses or ears, specifically. Noses and ears can easily begin to look completely bizarre.

You just made me realize there are no wires in my neighborhood. Like someone without a nose or ears. Weird.
They're underground! I don't know why some places have the up-in-the-air kinds, and others have it all buried in the ground. Maybe this is the old-fashioned way?
