Tea for One

I made scones. Dear friend, I wish you were here to share them with me, because then I wouldn't have eaten so many.*

*Two and a half. And in reality, Isaac came home and joined me, and he loved them, despite the involvement of coconut and almonds.

Ooh, those look great. If we actually knew each other and actually lived near each other, I would be all over that. I just waited too long to order Japanese food, and now I'm resisting the temptation to eat a pre-dinner dinner.

They are just as delicious as they look (possibly MORE). If you lived near me, I would invite you over to try one!

vegan? i am trying to prove flo wrong that there are no good vegan scones. these came out really well with fresh blueberries and lemon glaze on top, though i would recommend a tiny bit more sugar: http://artofdessert.blogspot.com/2012/02/coconut-milk-scones-vegan.html

No, but only because I was using up a bunch of mysterious butter I had. I SWEAR these would be delicious with Earth Balance too.

I love both coconuts and almonds. Stop blogging these lies.
