artemis turned eighteen yesterday. yeah, i know - crazy, right?* for the past five years or so, we've been meeting her and her family for a birthday picnic at kettle cove, and there's never been a year that the weather wasn't just perfect. last night we saw the loveliest sunset ever. and ate some delicious picnic food, too.
*maybe even crazier is that the animal lover turned fourteen the day before! all of these kids are growing up at a ridiculous rate.
