free amy goodman!

democracy now host amy goodman was arrested yesterday in st. paul. earlier in the day, two of her producers were apparently arrested in a raid for practicing journalism. from democracy now's blog:

"Amy Goodman is one of the most well-known and well-respected journalists in the United States. She has received journalism’s top honors for her reporting and has a distinguished reputation of bravery and courage. The arrest of Goodman, Kouddous and Salazar is a transparent attempt to intimidate journalists from the nation’s leading independent news outlet."

the three were released yesterday, but all have been charged (goodman with obstruction, and the producers with felonious rioting. apparently they were reporting on the "riot," and yelling, "press!" as they were detained).
