on friday night, my great friend scott read from his new book at books etc (with no interruptions from crazy people). it was his partner michael's birthday, too, so they stayed in town at a bed and breakfast, and bean, boo, leander and i got to hang out with them at arabica the next morning, drinking coffee and watching cute dogs go by.
m was being a local merchant at whole foods that day, so we walked over there after having coffee (and sending scott and michael back to boston so they could make their softball game). i love bayside. look at this cunning radiator village:
mom and dad came to town so we could all celebrate mother's day together, and we went to brunch at the good egg on sunday. mom received a very tiny, very cool gift from her three children:
