here's the day two school report: boo and bean had pretty great days at school today! they both have nice/weird/funny/not bad/great teachers. bean's crew is much improved from last year. boo can walk to and from school, seven minutes each way. bean's bus lets her off at boo's school right at the approximate time he finishes, so they can walk home together if they want to. bean loves french three and she has classes with most of her friends. boo thinks middle school might turn out to be pretty great, and he has no homework yet!
as for me, if it weren't for the espresso machine awaiting me in the kitchen, i don't know if i'd be able to haul myself out of bed at 5:30. i haven't worked up to truly fabulous lunch making yet -- it's all i can to do just assemble sandwiches and put them in lunch boxes so far.
