bean and i went to see dreamgirls last weekend, the beginning of my annual last-minute rush to see as many oscar nominees as i can squeeze in before the big show. we thought it was only okay, and i guess the academy of motion picture arts and sciences agreed with us, since it wasn't nominated for best picture after all (though it got lots of nominations, and jennifer hudson was great and all, but i'll be rooting for abigail breslin, the little girl in little miss sunshine).
i have so many movies to attempt to fit in! the only ones i've seen are the aforementioned two, and the devil wears prada (meryl streep, best actress), cars (best animated film), and marie antoinette (costume design -- and it should win!).
