ada, or ardor

in case you were worried that i haven't been keeping up with my reading lately, i'm here to reassure you. i have been reading NABOKOV, so there. i don't know, i found this difficult, and just a tiny bit dull. maybe i should've read it with a dictionary close at hand, the way i've often observed adam reading nabokov...

i don't think reading a book involving a dictionary is any fun.

sounds kind of arduous, huh?

I LOVE that book! Did you finish it? I admit that the beginning is slow, with the family tree and whatnot, but I love the weird world it's set in, the editorial commentary, inconsistent descriptions of events, etc.

i did like it and i did finish it! i truly do love nabokov, i think it was just too dense (in a rich, full, long, wordy way) for my frame of mind. also, i got tired of their passion by the end... next up: pnin!
